Jaclyn’s Bio:
Jaclyn Walsh named “25 to Watch” in 2015 by Dance Magazine, trained at the Walnut Hill School and received her BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she was the recipient of the Tisch Achievement Scholarship in Dance. Jaclyn has been a dancer in Keigwin + Company since 2011, performing in prestigious venues across the world, from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. to The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. As a dancer with K+C, Jaclyn toured Africa as part of DanceMotion USA, an artistic cultural exchange program of The State Department, produced by BAM.
Her Choreography has been seen at the 92nd St. Y Friday’s at Noon Series, Pushing Progress Showcase, American Dance Guild Festival, Perceptions Contemporary Dance Festival, Young Choreographer’s Dance Festival, New York University’s Past/Forward, SummerStage Main Stage in Central Park and Dancers Responding to AIDS’s Dancin’ Downtown at The Joyce Theater in New York City, where she received The Choreography Award in 2012 and 2013. She choreographed and performed in a commercial for ALDO Shoes produced by Refinery 29, as well as a music video for Vienna Teng. Jaclyn was named a Finalist in the Capezio A.C.E. Awards in 2014 and 2016. DanceSpirit magazine recognized Jaclyn as one of the dance world’s thirteen “Hottest Young Choreographers.”
