Alex Perez returns for 2nd Year

Alex Perez has been involved in the marching arts for over 20 years. At age 16, he joined the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps as a member of the contra line. He was also a member of Carolina Crown drum and bugle corps, where he was part of the color guard under the direction of Micheal Shapiro and Rosie Miller-Queen.

He later returned to Boston to age out of the Color Guard in 2004. After aging out, he then joined the creative and instructional teams of the Magic of Orlando Drum and Bugle Corps, The Cadets, and Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps (who were the winners of the George Zingali High Color Guard Award in 2017 and the recent DCI 2018 World Champions).

In addition to his extensive experience in the drum corps activity, Alex has had a successful career in the Winter Guard arena. He has designed for groups such as Cypress Bay HS, Summerville HS, Winston Churchill HS, Braddock Independent, Black Gold, Park Vista HS, Stoneman Douglas HS, FIU, and the 5-time fan-favorite West Broward World Guard FL.

Alex is proud to return to Fusion Winter Guard for his second winter season.
